Synopsis: This is a great opportunity of funding for bankable projects under the ground-breaking DFCD, which aims to leverage 100s of millions of euros in private finance to increase the resilience of communities and ecosystems.
Through Dutch Fund for Climate and Development (DFCD), the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs has made €160 Million available to increase the resilience of communities and ecosystems most vulnerable to climate change. The DFCD will focus on several high impact investment themes, including climate-resilient water systems, water management and freshwater ecosystems, forestry, climate- smart agriculture, and restoration of ecosystems to protect the environment in least developed, developing and Dutch priority countries.
